The new H3 Marines look so good now. WAAAAAY better than the previous ones which were already great. They got the more accurate armor color and removable helmets which help them look more accurate and allows us to have more customization. The only thing they can change to make them perfect is to give them gloved hands.
Needless to say, Mega has got to start putting these in figure packs so we can start army building tf out of them. And the Gordon Ramsay of MCX has come up with what they feel is the best way to pull a set like this off...
An epic 5 pack with a stationary turret build, some sandbags with a flag like the new ODST hive exterminator set, and a crate with an extra Rocket Launcher, a couple of Magnums, and some grenades. While not represented in the pic, not all Marines would be exactly the same. 1 would have facial hair, 3 would have none but each have a different skin tone, and 1 is a female and a medic. I always thought it would be awesome if we got medic Marines like the one we saw in Halo Landfall and with these brand new Helmet Marines and Mega being willing to bring out obscure/characters from trailers and whatnot, this is the perfect time to give us one. I know I got the figure's design off to how it looks in the Landfall short. I was going off memory.
I see this as a 20 dollar set. I am basing the pricing on this set off of what we get in the Recon Getaway since you more or less get the same amount of stuff and its a better deal than what the Platoon Pack offers. 15 dollars for the turret and 4 of the figures 2.50 for the 5th one, and another 2.50 for the crate of extras, the sandbags, and flag. But yeah, that's about all I have to say on this.
Here is a much older one I made. It's a H3 Mongoose vs the H2 Shade Turret. The H3 Mongoose is exactly like the one that came in the Locust Attack and some other sets so its part count is lower than the Recon Getaway one which is why I also included a H2 Shade Turret which is made mainly out of 4 specialized parts. The base, the seat and handlebars, the shield, and the cannon. The Ghost introduced 4 specialized parts and since the Mongoose uses a old build, I figured the H2 Turret would be a good way to go about it. You get 2 H3 Marines, 1 with a Br and 1 with a Ar, a Grunt Minor, and a Jackal with a new larger Shield and needler. I originally included a Rocket Launcher in this set but we could leave that out since the other set comes with one. I was thinking of one or both of the Marines in this one having exposed arms as well for more variety.
much like the other 4 packs, this would ideally be a 15 dollar set.
