Back on Halloween I had posted my customized 2nd Time Around store, using two Street Showdown sets and one Rooftop Combat set (with a few other spare pieces). By the way, that was when there was lots of gallery issues, so you may not have seen that one, so you might want to take a look at my other projects to compare that one with this one, to get a full view of the expansion.
In my last post, a Minion previewed what would be used in this one. In total there are: 5 Street Showdown sets and 4 Rooftop Combat sets. (sale prices at Toys R Us website). To finish out the floor in tile, and pillars, I had to use a few pieces from other sets I had, thus the reason why Halo, Star Trek, and Call of Duty are listed.
1st floor is the Store, 2nd floor is living area with a quick attempt at black and white April using Dead Orbit Hunter and black and white Casey Jones' arms and head (doesn't look that good, moreso just to have something representing a B&W April. Sure would be awesome if Mega Construx would make more of these B&W sets). 3rd floor is the office and crawlspace.
The stairs worked alright with the pieces I used, but was problematic getting in place without falling apart. Although I used a lot if sets, I still didn't have enough to truly have April's apartment, so I went suggestive with just bedroom items and the couch and chair.
What do you all think of the renovations? (And if you are wondering, the Minion was fired for always being on break eating bananas)
