How do you stop the paint from coming off of customs?

i use a clear spray paint. just spray on a light coat over everything. just make sure you spray pieces separately. don't do it while the figure is assembled.

Primer on the figure to allow the paint to stay on, Sealant when its done

Priming before painting and putting a clear protectant on after will help.

Primer. Or matt varnish finish. Coler match paint to armor ie black paint on dark armor like grey and black. Red with red armors. Watch some warhammer painting guides

use another layer of transparent overcoat to seal in the paint or use waterproof non acrylic paints
