@Survivor11 - this is meant to be a serious comic, however I did want to insert a couple little gags. However, this is the last of the humour for this particular story. Besides, warning that a joke is coming kinda spoils it (from my experience at least).

Well, as a fan of fourth wall breaks, I'd say that you should either make it clear that there will be fourth wall breaking from the start rather than throwing it in half way. It ruins the seriousness of the rest of the comic. That may have been the effect you were going for though.
