Continuing on with the ONI Field Testing of the Forerunner ship, we discuss now the biped reconfiguration and known weapons systems. In this form the ship can emit great surges of energy harvested from surround magnetic and light source to power a massive particle cannon that is reconfigured by the ship from its armored canon produces a shot similar to our smaller MAC cannons but, does the damage of our larger orbital defense platforms. The round appears to be a guided round able to track a target (moving and/or non-moving). The cannon takes between 10 seconds of recharge time between every 5 rounds with a seemingly unlimited firing capability .The most up to date testing shows a target can be hit with pin point accuracy to a 10 mile range with no apparent degradation to the round velocity or the impact of the round. Further testing is needed to evaluate distance capability and ability to fire from planetary side into orbital distances.
The biped itself is formidable able to lift most of ground vehicles with ease and able to turn 2 ton boulders in to rubble with ease. It uses this power in conjunction with the ships ability to create a portals at any distance the ship has traveled previously or that has been spotted by its on board Monitor construct, similar the ones encounter overseeing the Halo installations. When combining these abilities the ship can easily engage enemy at close range from a great distances. In addition, the rifts create minimal energy reading that make them almost undetectable by current scanning technology.
Finally the ship has the ability to summon sentinels of all types to its location. This technology has not been witnessed due the ship only performing this procedure out of dire necessity such as imminent catastrophic failure, war time events or any situation the ship protocols deem it necessary.
