The Build
This is essentially a stretched out and widened Elephant Troop Carrier chassis. And, as in all my Armor builds, I gave it GROUND CLEARANCE.
At first I placed two of the turrets that came with the Banshee orbital set, but it looked too bulky so I opted to place LAAGs instead.
Yes those are third party machineguns, I thought of putting official machineguns but I wanted it to look different.
There are less wall mounted weapons as compared to the original troop carrier build and also less moving parts.
The rail gun took a lot of figuring out and is the third iteration now that it's posted. It can only be positioned fully extended or level and nowhere in between. A stiffer swivel or those mantis click joints might do the trick.
The rail gun at first had a ton of detail, lots of rods, lots of studs and special vents, but in the end I decided for a sleeker smoother appearance to make it distinct from mass driver designs.
