BTW, @Silenttakedown, Take a look at the description included with the other (primary) gallery post associated with this build. In it I freely admit to making use of a couple of L*go parts and provided my reasoning for doing so.

Yup. On the occasion when L*go makes a part for which there is no suitable equivalent, I will unabashedly mix brands in my builds. I'm interested in building the best model I possibly can. Sometimes that model is exclusively MB, sometimes it isn't. Sometimes there is no perfect part at all and I have to custom make my own! While I work primarily in Mega Bloks 'cuz they are the purveyors of my favorite game/toy licenses. I'm not brick/blok brand prejudiced.
