Hey everyone, so with all the Halo birthdays lately (Halo 2 and CE) I thought it would be a good idea to go back and recreate a figure from one of if not my favorite old mega bloks set.
The covenant invasion set came with these awesome ODST ground force specialists and I figured they definitely deserved to be brought to the new articulation. This wasn't easy however as Mega bloks used a very peculiar colour that after hours I was unable to replicate perfectly but I tried my best! Although I've created a comparison photo so you can make up your own mind on that.
Now as I have a decent number of regular ODST's I saw it fit to give them a leader thus I present to you. The Captain of the 145th Orbital Drop Shock Trooper regiment complete with a working holster for his pistol, a coms and upgraded armour variant helmet, a small grenade belt/ammo pouches, and some appropriate decalling which includes such details as a medical blood type identification on the left shoulder, unsc logo on the chest (old school) and the helljumper patch on his backpack. He also comes with a custom painted AR that is game accurate with appropriate colouring and ammo counter screen.
