This is my review of Zombie Nuketown. Starting small, the first two builds are the Double Tap machine and the nuked Nuketown sign. The Double Tap machine has great weathered detail and the little bottle on it is a great addition. The sign is a great call back to the first Nuketown set and is a really good environment piece.
The Zombies contain molds that we have mostly gotten, but are fitting for the set theme. The two hazmat zombies are simple pop and swaps, but their new color and different appearance from the other Hazmat zombies in the pack look great.
The house itself is a great callback to to the first blue Nuketown house set, but with some weathering and ruins. The ruined look is pulled off great and the set is a decent structure piece, even if part complete. You can put the Double Tap machine inside the house to fill some space. The house has window blinds and a door, all of which can be moved which is great for display, play, stop motion, etc.
The wall to the right of the second floor can also fall out as a play feature, and as a good display option. The floor can also collapse with the pull of a lever that is very well hidden, though this is more of a play feature.
But the worst part of the set was the balcony. Honestly, the instructions were barely color coded, and I had to refer to the box images and my knowledge of the pieces being used. Still, the balcony is a great piece to the set and my favorite part. It has many display options and good detail. Details like the flame, plant, and drain pipe make this set a favorite of mine!
Overall. I think it's a great set! It has many display options, play features, stop motion use, or just being a structure in general! I'd highly suggest getting this set!
