Just finished the WWI Fighter Strike set and I’m very pleased with the final build…should look great sitting next to the P-51 from a few years ago. No stickers, but there were a number of issues with the painted pieces. Fortunately, replacements were included that solved most of the issues. The one paint issue that remained however, was on the angled piece at the front of the tail. The manual shows the piece with the piece color visible above and below the white stripe, but the actual piece has the white stripe at the bottom of the piece. If you build it by the book, the white stripe on the tail ends up looking jagged.
The fix is to move the 1x1 piece with peg (holding the rubber band) above the angled piece to underneath the back of the angled piece. (See red arrows) Then if you are lucky enough to get a spare 1x1 piece (I got several), add it under the front of the angled piece, and your white tail stripe should be properly aligned. Would love to find out how the other issues were caught, but this one was missed.
