Wasteland Showcase presents: Margo, leader of Margo's Mercs.
Margo is a skilled shot as she grew up a hunter's daughter from a small rural town in southern Kansas. After the bombs fell, her home was attacked by desperate survivors while she was on a hunting trip with her cousins in northern Oklahoma. They returned to find the town now controlled by the attackers, all of the inhabitants either killed or made into slaves. Margo grew up in a patriotic and cautious family. She planned on joining the military, so she had trained her mind to deal with tactical situations. She held her cousins back from barging into the town. They devised a plan to get their home back. Two nights later they snuck into town and started to release their old neighbors from their captivity. There came a shout from somewhere and before they knew it they were surrounded by the new inhabitants of the town. They were captured and sold to the neighboring town as slaves. Margo and two out of six of her cousins were able to escape, stealing a pickup truck as well as some supplies to last them a while. There was a Marty Robbins music cd in the truck that started to play. The song that was playing was "El Paso" and that reminded them that they have grandparents in El Paso Texas. Turns out El Paso was now under control of a new faction called the United States Restoration Corp. Seeing that Margo and her cousins were human the USRC let them into the city. They found their grandparent's house full of refugees from the devastation of the bombs. Margo started recruiting refugees to her cause. Thus the start of Margo's Mercs.
