The four monkeys lie in wait for what Grub, once again, assumed to their impending doom. The door burst open suddenly and a dark figure leapt from the room. It immediately disarmed Flig and threw him against the wall. Palf tried to stun it, but the figure side-stepped him and pushed him on his face. As it kicked the stun gun away, it turned and grabbed Grub’s stick and whacked him on the head with it. The blow was hard enough to hurt, but not enough to cause damage. Finally, little Tan built up enough courage to rush the dark figure with his bush. It instead tripped Tan and caused him to fall on his face.
“Please! Don’t kill us! We sorry!” Flig cried. The figure spoke, “I do not want to hurt you.” Palf stood up and backed away, “Then why you attack us?” “Were you not planning to do the same to me?” The figure asked. Palf paused, “Well, yeah, but we thought you was huge monster thing!” The figure shrugged, “I thought you were hunters trying to kill me.” Palf didn’t have a response for that. Grub stood up. This allowed him to get a better look at the figure. He was dressed completely in black, with now part of his face showing. His eyes glowed yellow from behind the hood, and what looked like tentacles protruded from the depths of his cloak. Grub stuck out his hand, “Me think there has been confusion. Hi! Me Grub. This is Palf, Flig, and Tan. We monkeys, or well we were, we not sure what we is now.” The figure shook his hand, “I am Netgaris. An outcast, and you are more than monkeys now. You are mutants.”
That’s right everyone. Your boy is back. In fact, this is set only about 2 weeks after he disappeared. So really, did he ever leave?
