So back all the way in 2007 (I think), these guys came out. Basically, the plot of Neo-Shifters is that there are two sides, the Paladins and the Templars, the first being good and the other being the big bad guys. These two sides fight in a desert planet (somewhat implied to be Earth) over H20, or water.
Each set came with a mini bot that could roll up into a nice little ball. These guys use ball joints for most of their movement and have articulation nowhere near the standards mega bloks figures have now. I really like the great printing on them to show which side they are on.
All of the sets, as shown, have a feature where if you move the parts around, you can transform them into a ball. These things actually roll. However, being from 10 years ago, most of the joints are either very tight, very loose, and even to the point of cracking. But, all the sets quality was probably 10 out of 10 back in the day. I own 4 Neo-Shifters (1 official Templar, who's the hologram red guy, 1 custom blue and white Paladin, 1 custom black paladin without wings since they're missing and parts to an official Templar.), along with three vehicles and a lot of little bots (Too lazy to count).
Overall, I really like the Neo-Shifters line. The quality, print, and execution of the Neo-Shifters is great, even if the quality of mega has changed a lot in 10 years, and the plot is very interesting and could've used a lot more development. Anyway, that's it for today guys. Justin, signing off.
