@NatoGreavesy is that a general arm swing, or are there hit spots that act like a head shot, punch it in the right spot for one hit, miss and it takes 3 or 4 to kill the flood?

@Guiltyspark22 - I encourage you to play Halo 3. Melee attacks with any weapon - which includes weapons where you actually swing your fist instead - deal serious damage to Flood, even on higher difficulties.

@NatoGreavesy actually melee with your fists in lore and game does not harm them and @Ge0b0x they have to pierce skin to infect which means its not instinct like I’ve had kill-streaks in halo 2 with a energy sword and the amount would be thirty plus combat forms and carriers some spores

@NatoGreavesy with or without the suit armor? I would agree with a suit fist can, but the flood just want to get closer, I wouldn't punch it, I be getting away, because its the tentacles you don't see that get you. You stop to punch one and two grab you

You have orange figures to fight your green figure. That's great, you got close to green figure to infect the green guy. Great work General Taco, you revealed the flood infection early, no worries, no one saw it coming this early, flood infection hits your Taco War Green faction troops.

So, that's ok buddy. This is for everyone, with small or large army. Defending with the flood is a defense. Clever thinking, surrender as the flood, no one had a flame thrower, anyone who tried to capture you got infected with the flood.
