This is the first permanent establishment of the Intelligent Life Coalition, called Vitam. As of December 21, 2084, it has around 250 residents, primarily engineers, technicians, and soldiers/law enforcers. There is one small farm that was there before the ILC, which the town was more or less built around. The farm may have a slight problem with the local wildlife.
There are several small apartments provided to ILC engineers as an incentive to live in the town, versus commuting from a nearby farm.
There are two checkpoints by which one can enter the town. They are located in the northern most part and southern most part of the town. One must pass through the checkpoint to gain access to the town.
All members of the ILC (residents of Vitam, as well as scattered farmers) must report to a checkpoint at least once a month to report any suspicious activity as well as confirm that they are still, well, alive. Thieves and radicals are everywhere in the wasteland.
A local group of scrappers often trade with the ILC. The scrappers are selling mortar rounds along with scavenged toys.
A small pine was erected near the communications array by an unknown citizen. While this has questionable legality, an investigation has not been started.
Well, I’ve really enjoyed building all of this, and I think it turned out pretty well! Thanks for reading and viewing! Merry Christmas!
