Scorpion M808 HBT Black Tail

Althoigh the M808 MBT was generally reliable and versatile UNSC Army saw it necessary to field a more heavily armored and armed Scorpion that was still used the same chassis (M808) , engine and auto loading system (to ease maintenance and repair). Thus the M808 HBT Black Tail Scorpion was rolled out of the assembly line. Instead of the 90mm cannon that most M808 use, it is armed with a SBHV (Smooth bore High Velocity) 180mm cannon which fires a wide array of 180mm ammunition, 2 8 tubed grenade and smoke grenade launchers, a 12mm chaingun and a 20mm grenade launcer mounted on its tracks. Hard points are present for attachment of more weapons on all its tracks. It is equipped with additional reactive armor that can protect it from plasma and hard light projectiles, bolstering the special alloys that comprise its factory default armor.
