Glory to the Living

The massive lifeform milled about the camp restlessly. Its minions patrolled the area, seemingly in search. As far as the humans knew, the barren wasteland had nothing of value in it. The savage Sangheili walked to the center of the camp, brute shot in hand. It roared so loudly that the Kig-Yar even stepped back anxiously. Whatever it commanded was urgent. The group started to pan out, but not before their leader was thrown backwards. The monster dropped its brute shot as the bloodied helmet slid off its head. The Sangheili fell to the ground before a wickedly loud gunshot pierced the air. The monster was dead and its vile blood tainted the ground. The horrified Covenant ran for their lives and the childish screams of grunts filled the air. The scouts could rest in peace now.
