A 2nd attempt at posting my latest effort- For some reason this didn't make it up a few days ago. So as the title and comparative pics suggest, I did a really thorough rebuild of the Kodiak. The in-game vehicle is a really utilitarian slab of a thing. It would appear the MB design team chose to make their model look "prettier" than the in-game vehicle actually was- LOL! So while I admired the visual aesthetic of the narrow chassis and protruding tires of the stock Kodiak model, these features weren't game accurate.
As my before and after pics suggest, I re-worked and rebuilt pretty much everything. While I was at it I added 360 degree rotation to the main cannon turret and the pop out action of the cannon's armor shrouds and recoil mech. So now when my Kodiak deploys its stabilizers and main gun to aim at a distant target, it really looks the part.
