Yesterday I went to a mall with my family and I found this old Megabloksaurus set in a collectors store at a price of $ 15 dollars. I'm not kidding, they really had it at that price and I was amused because this set is almost 10 years old. The box was a little damaged but it was never opened by anyone except me which everything inside was intact.
Which last night I was building the set but I did not post photos of it since I had a mini diorama that I had not taken photos of it at that time (but now I have the photos and will share it later today).
Starting with the review, I want to warn you that I am not very knowledgeable about what World of Warcraft games are, so if you know more about these things than I do, a little information that you can give me is never wrong.
This Warcraft set is made up of so many things to just be a 128 piece set.
2 figures, 1 being a night elf named Tanavar, and an orc named Dragath. I don't know how important these characters are in the story, but oh my gosh the details in these figs are incredible and the weapons too.
Something shocking that I did not know about this line, was that the use of removable armor was not something new since COD arrived. This already existed since 2012 in the Warcraft line which I never knew until yesterday. It is almost similar to the version we see with Halo and COD, only that in the arms you have to remove the entire arm to remove the shoulder armor.
The set brings 2 flags for both sides, which I don't remember the names they represented but they look great.
For Tanavar he has a Nightsaber or a purple saber-toothed tiger. Which has almost the same articulation as Panthor, only the neck and legs do not use the new articulation system which articulation is somewhat limited.
For Dragath he has an X53 Rocket, which is a transport with what little I know.
Now with the things that I never expected to see from a Warcraft set.
Apparently in each Warcraft set there was a mysterious item, in my case I had a red mace that I do not know 100% if it is special or not.
And a game pass card to be able to play World of Warcraft up to level 20. It has no expiration date which I think can be used even after almost 10 years? (It would be funny if it was still valid XD). Which was not what I expected from this set at all but I will keep the card.
Something that I discovered in the figs today is that when trying to put their weapons down, their hands showed stress marks, which started to worry me a bit. Maybe it's that the weapons are a bit wider or maybe because of how old these sets are because time changed them. If anyone knows what I could do in this case, you can let me know in the comments.
In my opinion for a set almost 10 years ago, it's pretty good. The construction was fun, entertaining. There is a variety of things in just 128 pieces. And that mystery item was nice.
I hope you guys like this long review and be safe at home.
